What you’ll learn

  • Learn business basics such as registering your business in the state of Texas and obtaining your EIN.

  • You will learn about the types of online management systems you will need to have in place to run a smooth and accountable practice. Examples include hippa compliant phone line, virtual address, and EHR software to manage billing and confidential client records.

  • The timeline and cost will depend on your needs. However, I will share my strategy and personal advice to get you started on a steady but fruitful path.

  • Absolutely NOT. There are frugal ways to start running a business, especially when it is a virtual only business.

  • 100%% NO . However, many agencies do have non compete clauses within their contracts so please check with your current employer ahead of time.

  • It all depends on your pace, your needs, and what your goals are. But for sake of giving you an idea, you can have a practice in as little as 2-3 months.
